The former public house was refurbished to a small size. However, the upper floors were used to create 16 studios. An initial strip-out was carried out of the building, and a reroof was required. Scaffolding was erected, the reroof was completed, and new air tile vents were installed. Internally, wooden lintels were requested to be changed by building control. 18 new concrete Naylor lintels were installed, and new steels were installed to create a larger space for the studios on the ground floor.
